lynn canyon. or was it lynn valley?

shame i didn't have much time to walk around this photowalk, it was still pretty fun though. i love macro.

and stuff like this is why. these plants are just a few cm in size, if that, and i love it cause (and i'm at risk of sounding like a stoner here) it's like a miniforest, right there in plain sight, that nobody stops to notice.

this motherfucker hates me, i'm sure of it. everytime i had a great shot  set up of those compound eyes, he turned his head away. douche.

tell me this doesn't look awesome. it's a decaying leaf, and i love how it looks from this angle - kinda like sails or something. god, macro makes me sound like such a stoner LOL

and all this is why i love macro. all these pics probably took me an hour or so to look for and take, and it feels awesome to a) forget about everything and just focus on that one shot and setting everything up right, and all that b) get good shots out of it
